Gambling Disorder in Your Practice: Information and Resources - Online Program by Harvard Medical School


The Harvard Medical School has launched a number of training programs useful for practitioners of Psychiatry and Psychology. One such training program is Gambling Disorder in Your Practice: Information and Resources. It has a certification with AMA credits for limited time, if that is important for you!



Estimated time of completion: 4-5 hours

Gambling Disorder in Your Practice: Information and Resources is dedicated to increasing provider understanding of disordered gambling and its importance to their practice. This case-based course will include information about the epidemiology and clinical features of disordered gambling and will detail options for the primary care provider with regard to screening of and referral for disordered gambling.

This course is intended for primary care physicians, specialty physicians, psychologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, researchers (PhDs), and other mental health professionals.

The process is simple:

  2. Learn: By watching the recorded lesson videos
  3. Get Certified: Follow the link to take the post-training evaluation for certification.
